Survey to Strengthen Child Care
Maryland Family Network is conducting a survey to learn how the COVID-19 (novel coronavirus) outbreak is continuing to impact child care providers in Maryland. Your answers will help inform recovery efforts and make the case for more help for those providing services to young children and their families. All answers are confidential. Complete the survey at http://www.marylandfamilynetwork.org/childcaresurvey/.
Arundel Child Care Connections, Inc. (ACCC) is a not-for-profit community service organization that is dedicated to ensuring that ALL children in Anne Arundel County have access to healthy, safe, and nurturing environments. This is accomplished by creating connections with families, child care professionals, businesses, and community organizations to help educate and promote the importance of quality child care.
We offer valuable training and support services for new and established child care programs and provide parents with information on evaluating and choosing quality child care, as well as resources on various parenting issues. Please browse through the information and resources we offer on our website. Feel free to contact us with any questions and/or comments.
MSDE is truly grateful for the service that child care providers are delivering to the State. While more than 2,520 payments had been issued, MSDE extended work hours last week and over the weekend, and expect all past due payments, along with the additional $2000 grant, to be issued by the end of this week, if not sooner.
In an effort to improve communications with our child care providers, they have established a google form, email address, and a bank of customer service lines for payment inquiries:
There are three ways to contact them:
1. Google Assistance Form
2. E-mail: firstname.lastname@example.org
3. Call one of these numbers. Lines will be staffed M-F between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m.
