Arundel Child Care Connections, Inc. (ACCC) is a not-for-profit community service organization that is dedicated to ensuring that ALL children in Anne Arundel County have access to healthy, safe and nurturing environments. This is accomplished through creating connections with families, child care professionals, businesses, and community organizations to help educate and promote the importance of quality child care.

We offer valuable training and support services for new and established child care programs and provide parents with information on evaluating and choosing quality child care, as well as resources on various parenting issues. ATTENTION All Child Care Providers!!!! 

As many of you are aware beginning at the end of the day on Friday, March 27, 2020, all child care programs were to be closed-Except Those Serving Essential Personnel who have been approved by OCC.
During this State of Emergency, child care programs have been established by the State to serve only designated essential personnel. These programs are at no cost to designated essential personnel.
Eligible programs may be found on the MSDE website at www.earlychildhood.marylandpublicschools.org or by using the LOCATE: Child Care resource, a telephone service that is available by phone Monday – Friday at 877-261-0060 between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM. http://www.marylandfamilynetwork.org/essentialpersonnel
The approval process for Emergency Personnel Child Care (EPCC) and Emergency Personnel School-Age (EPSA) sites is through the OCC Regional Licensing Offices and Licensing Specialists. Programs need to complete and submit an application and can only operate effectively on March 30, 2020, only after they have been approved.
Child care providers with questions can contact their Regional Licensing Specialist.
Parents/guardians are strongly urged to keep children at home as the first and best option to protect them from the virus; it should be noted in the Governor’s March 13, 2020, Executive Order, licensing regulations were relaxed to allow for Family, Friend and Neighbor care for five or fewer students.
